Volunteers are limited to just two hours a week, with the principle in mind that a light obligation will increase a broader participation rate, and prevent volunteers from being overburdened.

The PeopleCorp agenda is not simply to provide momentary assistance, but ultimately, to help lift the individual from being a participant “in need” to a fellow volunteer, if possible, so they too can share in the joy and responsibility of serving others.
